One of the things I ntoiced when I got Xbox live was that I got a little more attention than usual at school. "What games do you have?" came up alot. Now. One guy I know, we shall call him Dr. Jones. (Yes. we seriously call him that.) asked me the question i never wished to hear. "Do you have Halo 3?" Now, at this moment, the most Halo I had ever played was briefly on my computer (fuck only knows how, my computer sucks.) and even then i didn't know what it was about or anything. So, when I hear things about Halo 3 I think "What's the big deal?" so after much torturing i finally managed to borrow Halo 3 off a friend. Now not only did i have to play Halo 3, but apparently get Halo 3: ODST as well. (at this time, i had no fucking idea what said game was about.) So, I tried Halo 3 and.... to be honest, I still don't see what the big fucking deal is. Honestly. People will say that it's best on online multiplayer. BUT. since this bastard's been out since 2007, the people that play it are the best fucking players evar. So, nooblets like me have no chance. Getting owned is so fun after all.

Another thing I couldn't wrap my head around was that in Legendary, which I attempted with 2 friends (whom of which invented the term "respawn Monkey") who were out pwning ass. Anyone who plays Halo 3 will know the little arrow above a player's head shows the status of their health. from blue-normal to red-HOLYCRAPGETOUTTATHERE. My friends then took fire from god knows how many bullets, lasers and crap and they nearly never ran out of health. They regened after near half a second, while i struggled to restore mine in 5 seconds... WTF?

Basically. I don't hate Halo, but i definatly think it's not worth the hype.

NOW. THE BIG PISS OFF.

Another dude asked me if I had C.O.D. 4, and that just took the cake. To be Honest, I played cod4 once in my life, and got owned my my friend's brother, who loves the thign like I love Swords. (a fucking lot.) But, I have played COD5, and... I honestly hate the thing. Why is this? Because, HOW CAN YOU HAVE 5 FUCKING GAMES FOR 2 WARS?! Seriously! Now, not only that, but the problem with online is most likely the same as with Halo. and once again, I didn't hate it, but it is probably one of the most overrated games I've ever seen. I keep hearing Nazi Zombies being brought up, and different "Map Packs" being refered to. Oh Joy! More places to get your ass kicked on! -.-' Now, the other thing, is that these two games are considered by many to be the best thing to happen to gaming since anything.

This really sickens me. There are other games out there, way better than Call of Duty or Halo, but fanboys think that these are the fucking best games ever invented ever and that nothing, no matter how good, badass, fun or entertaining can EVER stand up to these.

Seriously. How can fps games be so popular? THEY ARE ALL THE SAME THING. If an FPS came out, it would somewhere, by someone be called Repetitive. And I can Sympathize, Shooting things does get boring after a while (coming from a guy who played Bioshock) Yet if we were talking Cod or Halo? INSTA-10/10 5/5 two thumbs up whatever. It goes to show that fanboys are killing gaming IMO. Staying stuck to one franchise and never trying anything else. Seriously. If you DON'T play Halo or COD, you will instantly have no sense of gaming to the average Xbox Fanboy.
